What a week! How things have changed since I was a kid in VBS (Vacation Bible School), and for the better. We would come into the camp in a straight line then do the pledges and sit down and had to be quiet. Today the kids come in and sing along with Amy and the others as well as express themselves to the music. It really is fun watching them have a good time in church. Then the dramas; they are fun yet give the message. I think Mega Sports and Arts Camp is one of the best times of the church year. A big thank you to our directors Carolyn and Dorothy. A big thank you to everyone who helped out this week.

I and my family leave Monday for a few days in the mountains of West Virginia. Earl Gray will fill in for me July 6th. I hope you will all support him by being here ready to serve. I’ll have some pictures for the blog  on July 11th when I get back.
