The EC passed the 2010 budget last night and will now pass it on to the house [NWBC] for a vote at the end of January. Information will be handed out at Sunday’s service. Basically the budget has about a 5 % increase over last year.
We also voted to redo the parking lot in the spring and to proceed to get a loan for such upon approval of the church. In the fall the church will have a capital stewardship program to pay for the parking lot as well as upgrading the building. Plans will be forth coming.
We honored our secretaries for each having over 10 years at Northwest.

There were three deaths of NWBC families last night. Please keep them in your prayers.
Michelle Delgado’s dad Mr. Horsey died last night. Mr. Horsey will be laid out at Elines in Reisterstown. Times not yet known..
Blessing Ngong – Her mother died in Africa.
Chris Larkin’s [My daughter Amanda’s husband] grandmother died . She will be at Shimuneks Funeral home in Bel-Air 3-5, 7-9, Midge Sturm.

Mark Deal – Mark is in Carroll County Hospital with several blood clots. Mark is in the ICU and the family is thankful for our love and prayers but would like no visits at this time. Mark will undergo surgery today to stop the clot in his leg from moving.
Dorothy Hurlock – Dorothy is at Franklin Square Hospital after falling and breaking several bones.
Michele Mathis – Michele lost her mother. The Funeral will be on Wednesday in VA.
Carl Long – is in physical therapy for a week at a local nursing home.

Bob Crawford is in Carroll County Hosp. for 3 days following his knee operation today.
Richard Ely is at home and doing well.
You may bring your Christmas cards to the church and put them in the box located at the Ministry Table for other members and staff. We will have an elf sort them so you can pick them up on Sundays and Wednesdays.
Don’t forget Christmas caroling on Saturday, December 19th. We’ll meet at the Church at 10:45, We can park in the empty lot next to Java Mamas
Senior trip to president Eisenhower’s home in Gettysburg Friday the 18th. We will leave church at 8:30 a.m. and then have lunch afterwards.

Aubrey Cunningham has surgery yesterday and it went well. She is now in recovery. Please continue to lift her in prayer.

Linda Oland is home from the hospital, please keep her in prayer. She is definitely in some discomfort.
Aubrey Cunningham will have surgery at 3:00 p.m. today at C.C. Hosp. Pray that this surgery will lessen her pain and that her recovery will be fast.
